Community Rules

You must post before you leave

Be nice. Assume others have good intent (within reason).

Block or ignore posts, comments, and users that irritate you in some way rather than engaging. Report if they are actually breaking community rules.

Use content warnings and/or mark as NSFW when appropriate. Most posts with content warnings likely need to be marked NSFW.

Most 196 posts are memes, shitposts, cute images, or even just recent things that happened, etc. There is no real theme, but try to avoid posts that are very inflammatory, offensive, very low quality, or very "off topic".

Bigotry is not allowed, this includes (but is not limited to): Homophobia, Transphobia, Racism, Sexism, Abelism, Classism, or discrimination based on things like Ethnicity, Nationality, Language, or Religion.

Avoid shilling for corporations, posting advertisements, or promoting exploitation of workers.

Proselytization, support, or defense of authoritarianism is not welcome. This includes but is not limited to: imperialism, nationalism, genocide denial, ethnic or racial supremacy, fascism, Nazism, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism, etc.

Avoid AI generated content.

Avoid misinformation.

Avoid incomprehensible posts.

Moderator Guidelines

Moderator Guidelines

  • Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
  • Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
  • When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
  • Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
  • Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
  • Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
  • Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
  • Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
  • Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
  • Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
  • Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
  • Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
  • First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
  • Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
  • No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
  • Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
  • Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

??? It d9esnt matter if you thought it was shoes, you don't open other peoples mail?? In what country is it legal to do that wtf

[–] Liz@midwest.social 5 points 2 hours ago

I assume Mom omitted the "my" in front of shoes, like she and expecting her own delivery and just thought it was hers without double-checking.

[–] recursive_recursion@piefed.ca 62 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Reverse searched and this is what the mom probably saw:

Bad Dragon based off the description on the packaging

[–] saltnotsugar@lemmy.world 28 points 1 day ago (2 children)

(Roll for plausible deniability) Mom, it’s just a mushroom model. I’m into….biology.

Mom, I'm on drugs.

Small. What an absolute coward

[–] malle_yeno@pawb.social 17 points 16 hours ago

Can we all agree to not joke about people playing within their limits from now on?

[–] SharkWeek@lemmy.blahaj.zone 35 points 1 day ago

Don't be shaming people with limited capacity, they can't help it any more than any of us can help what our bodies are like

From a personal point of view, that looks like more fun than something modelled on a horse cock or whatever

Okay but if true moms did an amazing job with this

[–] Phantaloons@piefed.zip 16 points 1 day ago (2 children)

As a cis person ITT:

"OH... Ohh! OH!"

takes notes

[–] Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 36 points 23 hours ago (1 children)

You do know cis people are allowed sex toys too, right?

[–] Phantaloons@piefed.zip 8 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

Come to think of it, my cock ring hasn't come up too many times at the weekly D&D with the boys. I'll wait on the right storyline.

[–] M137@lemmy.today -3 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

Ah, yes, only non-cis people use sex toys.... It has nothing to do with you being cis, more that you've either never browsed a porn site in the last 20 years or have a very specific kind of site you go where those would never show up, and also don't have fun friends.

[–] Phantaloons@piefed.zip 2 points 8 hours ago

Sorry my sexdrive isn't my personality?

[–] thatsTheCatch@lemmy.nz 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Aaaaand that's why you mind your own business!

[–] SarahValentine@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Right? Oh she thought it was shoes? I'm still gonna ask why the fuck she opened someone else's shit!

[–] McGuirk808@lemmy.world 5 points 2 hours ago

I'm reading this as she ordered shoes recently and assumed it was her delivery without reading the shipping label.

[–] OldSageRick@lemmy.zip 35 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Also based on a quick search that is not the worst thing a mother could see (although granted that would depend on the mom, this one seems chill enough)

[–] Enkers@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ok, you're going to have to share with the class.

[–] OldSageRick@lemmy.zip 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Its "Nova the Breeder" small, soft or soft shaft firm base

Looks like this(the small one) obviously NSFW

Tap for spoiler

I was hoping for a weird giant octopus thing. Like 8 ft across or whatever.

[–] thagoat@lemmy.dbzer0.com 23 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Oversized, somewhere in that space between comically and frighteningly.

[–] Enkers@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 day ago

Thanks for reminding me I've got a daki on the way. Time to check the mail every hour.
