Flippant Anarchism. A lighter take on social criticism with the aim of agitation.

Post humorous takes on capitalism and the states which prop it up. Memes, shitposting, screenshots of humorous good takes, discussions making fun of some reactionary online, it all works.

This community is anarchist-flavored. Reactionary takes won't be tolerated.

Don't take yourselves too seriously. Serious posts go to !anarchism@lemmy.dbzer0.com

Rules

  1. If you post images with text, endeavour to provide the alt-text

  2. If the image is a crosspost from an OP, Provide the source.

  3. Absolutely no right-wing jokes. This includes "Anarcho"-Capitalist concepts.

  4. Absolutely no redfash jokes. This includes anything that props up the capitalist ruling classes pretending to be communists.

  5. No bigotry whatsoever. See instance rules.

  6. This is an anarchist comm. You don't have to be an anarchist to post, but you should at least understand what anarchism actually is. We're not here to educate you.

  7. No shaming people for being anti-electoralism. This should be obvious from the above point but apparently we need to make it obvious to the turbolibs who can't control themselves. You have the rest of lemmy to moralize.

For anyone curious, the American right wing wearing diapers in protests actually predates trump's diaper use. They did it to protest college safe spaces too. I think they just like wearing them at this point

[–] A404@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 hours ago

Wow, I did not know that

[–] Sisyphe@lemmy.world 14 points 14 hours ago (4 children)

I'm saddened by the fact that I understand what this is about.

I'm not American. I have no reason to know the context of this. I should not know about this idiocy. My attention has been hijacked. Every time I learn about something as stupid as this, I feel like I'm wasting precious resources. There are more important things closer to me that I should be worrying about.

How I wish I could block out all this and enjoy a nice surf on the web without having my awareness polluted.

[–] TigerAce@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 3 hours ago

It's so depressing. I mean, it can be nice to see there's a place where stupid people have stupid problems, to give my problems some perspective, but it's impossible now to open the web without non-stop American stupidity confrontation. It's nice to go to a theme park, it's hell to live there. I wish there was an American-free platform. Even Lemmy, which is mostly hosted in Europe, is completely taken over by Murica slop. No wonder those Americans are so self centered, when the entire world has to live in their drama.

Fuck, I know, it's like a drug, all the stupid American shit. It's takes over brain space.

[–] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago

Imagine actually living here

[–] village604@adultswim.fan 2 points 13 hours ago

I mean, the diaper thing has been joked about for nearly 10 years at this point.

[–] frostysauce@lemmy.world 3 points 10 hours ago

That's... not how you wear a diaper.

The slightly strained and desperate edge to that smile tho

[–] axx@slrpnk.net 2 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

It's hard to tell how much everything is just another chance to grift and these people are simply happy to debase themselves for their 15 min of fame (and associated ad money and derived merchandise opportunities), or genuinely just a caricature of dumb Americans.

Both are depressing.

[–] TwodogsFighting 1 points 42 minutes ago

That's the same thing, twice.

Just when I didn't think my opinion of Americans as stupid and annoying could sink any lower this pic shows up in my feed

Thats just... so childish

When you have less self awareness than a grain of sand and the subtlety of an orbital strike..

Yep! A choice will be made either way so I don't see the point in not voting. That's just my $0.02.

[–] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 1 points 19 hours ago

nah man, I'm going to smoke some dope, tie up my man bun and whine on Reddit.

Like everything else, "Trump derangement syndrome" is projection.

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 20 hours ago (2 children)

I absolutely adore finding someone that drops 'TDS' in an online convo. Like, me am dumb, what TDS mean? Please eli5. And then they inevitably try to distance themselves, because using anything other than dog whistles is fucking terrifying to MAGA.

[–] Raiderkev@lemmy.world 4 points 17 hours ago

I try to stay out of chud spaces on the Internet. A conservative friend of mine dropped that on me IRL a few years ago saying I had TDS. It was the first time I had ever heard the term. I asked him what it meant, and he said Trump derangement syndrome. I said what does that mean? He said you're so obsessed with Trump you can't avoid shitting on him. I told him dude, you're so obsessed with him you have a name for a made up disease that assists in fondling his balls in your vocabulary. He genuinely couldn't believe I had never heard the term. This was maybe 2022.

[–] anomnom@sh.itjust.works 1 points 17 hours ago

Dropping this picture and asking if this is what they meant should work too.

[–] SharkAttak@kbin.melroy.org 53 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I just hope that one day she'll want this image removed from the internet, and the answer will be "LOL no".

[–] webp@mander.xyz 21 points 1 day ago (3 children)

She's wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day, she knows.

[–] SacralPlexus@lemmy.world 3 points 17 hours ago

I wear sunglasses anytime it’s daytime and I’m outside, cloudy or not. They are prescription and polarized so it feels like I have super vision with them. Please don’t conflate sunglasses with her insanity.

I wonder if she wears merch with Epstein inspired slogans too...

[–] Kirp123@lemmy.world 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Why would she need to? Trump also has some "inspiring" quotes himself: "Grab em' by the pussy." "If she wasn't my daughter I would be dating her." "I think she's going to have big breasts like her mother." I won't list more because it makes my flesh curdle but you can find them yourself.

[–] GeeDubHayduke@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 20 hours ago

"What do Ivanka and i have in common? Sex." He said that to Bawa Wawas on The fucking View.

🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
