If I'm not mistaken, it seems like this is a timing attack and you need a lot of attack attempts to make it work. If you have like a fail2ban rule for ssh it should mitigate this attack to quite some degree, right? (Of course updating would still be the best).

Zizek has the superior way of listing things:

  • say the first thing
  • say "and so on"
  • say "and so on"

Thats three items right there.

Wow, that is so dumb. I saw some crack pot dude trying to solve unsolved physics problems by using prompts like "imagine you are Einstein, then how would you solve: ...". Good to see he is not alone, but has Bill fucking Gates with similarly dumb AI takes.

There is quite some regulation on the curriculum, but the school system in sweden is completely ruined. The charter schools are allowed unlimited profits, they give away high grades for free just to get a greater score, they turn away kids they think will be too expensive. It's a free fall dumpster fire.

Why are charter schools called public in the US? Just because they are funded with public money? We call them private in Sweden as they are directed by a private entity and the profits are also private.

Earth's surface is 71% water, otherwise this seems to assume some flooded hollow earth conspiracy theory too.

Hi,

I'm looking for some way to send my own alerts via e-mail in some way. Whenever I try to search for this, most docker images have a much grander goal, and I have a hard time understanding how to use them for my purpose.

What would I want? It'd be nice to have a docker running some smpt-server (I suppose), so that I can make my own python script that scrapes a website, looks at some metric, and e-mails me whenever whatever I'm looking for is found. I only want it to be available on and to receive mails from localhost, no dns, just forward e-mails to my personal one, no web-interface, etc.

I'm quite new to self-hosting, but I hope you still understand what I'm looking for. Is it possible? Should I look for another solution? Will this not work? Any help/input very much welcome.

Don't forget that sometimes you also do work for that journal, telling them if a paper is good enough or not for them, and also basically don't get payed.

Är det inte väldigt konstigt att statsministern gömmer sig bakom en post på sociala medier speciellt om nu läget är det mest allvarliga sedan andra världskriget. Borde inte det om något vara värt en presskonferens?
