Irony-pilled Americans will share state-backed Lego propaganda regardless of the message because wtf - it's Lego. Also you can't mock the religious motifs in the Lego propaganda. In fact, you can't mock anything about it - because by being Lego - it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Can't do real people because of the distracting uncanny valley

Can't do faux pixar because that's associated with tiktok slop

Can't do 2D animation because the AI smears the frames and it looks really bad.

Lego is the slop compromise (the slopromise, even)

That'd be a good explanation if it was being made by hand since the nice thing is the simplicity of the assets and the repeatability of all the basic shapes of lego parts.

Charitably I'd say they're capitalising on the popularity of lego crossover media. Same with the choice to use "rap" music. It's all very palatable to what I imagine as the majority of Americans who this might reach and have an impact on.

Uncharitably I'd say perhaps this propaganda is a little creatively bankrupt lol.
