parenti-hands

When the Chinese display military might, that’s a sign that they are a dangerous aggressor to the world. When they don’t display military force, they’re being irresponsible in not providing a counterbalance to the US.

Personally I think senior Chinese fellows should be enjoying their retirement playing mahjong or something instead of writing stuff like this, but I guess they do it differently in Norway

In Norway they don't play mahjong, only this:

Every time you take a piece, you have to take the shot.

This adds another level of strategy to the game, as your opponent gets more inebriated as they take more shots.

Piss takes are stored in the NADS (national academy for defence sciences)

Why won't China extend themselves so that we can use our overextend and extinguish strategy on them??

Wow they are so mean.

Nordics shut up challenge

also, no way "senior china fellow" is a real job. sounds like something out of a problematic comedy sketch from the 50s

[–] Hestia@hexbear.net 11 points 1 week ago

I can see the problematic comedy sketch in my head

"Senior China fellow" just an old guy from Guizhou.

[–] Krem@hexbear.net 3 points 1 week ago

old Guizhou uncles are something else. only place i've seen people still wearing those blue mao-era worker outfits

Didn’t the Vietnam War, arguably the poster child of American overreach, happen with the existence of the USSR as an active counterweight? It seems like an American habit to go gallivanting around the world in search of children to bomb regardless of external circumstance.

Waiting for the day they blame it on Stalin for stopping at Berlin.

I'll do it today

Western Marxists: "China should do something to stop the US"

Western imperialists: "China should do something to stop us"

China: xigma-male

So easy to talk. Norway a sovereign country yes? So send Cuba some defense systems, shouldn't be controversial right? Is just defense

Or like, at least trade with them? Contribute to the efforts to make them energy independent? do something besides profiting from war and pretending to be a peacemaker?

[–] Mardoniush@hexbear.net 6 points 1 week ago

I think China should send Cuba some nukes, just as a gesture of goodwill between nations. surely the US wont object.

is it just me or are the imperial propagandists are getting more desperate by the day

It's either a demonic chihuahua or a cornered, rabid murderous pitbull. There is no in between these days.

the Soviets' refusal to come to their Communist proxy's aid in Afghanistan is encouraging the US to very naughtily arm the mujahadeen

"Y'know maybe if China actually did more instead of selfishly doing nothing, I wouldn't be starting and getting myself tangled in costly unwinnable wars that do nothing but benefit China."
