Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Oh GOP, you're so pedophile (and racist).

The guy was asking if the candidate was having sex with a 17 year old when he was 27.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 19 points 3 days ago

Oh, he can bang underage girls and yell racist things at black people, but those women on that "degeneracy platform"? They are the ones that should be targeted for extractive taxes.

It gets "better":

James Fishback blowing up at a Black voter and telling him he should be "lynched" for asking about the allegations of inappropriate behavior with teenagers.

[–] WraithGear@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

we moved beyond the point where having the mask is necessary

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 31 points 3 days ago (2 children)

This is the same dipshit that wants to tax OnlyFans girls extractive amounts via a "sin tax".

Pretty clear he's a complete asshole. And I bet anything he has quite an interesting electronic trail which should be hacked and then leaked.

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 8 points 3 days ago (2 children)

A sin tax? Really? I mean they should be taxed because every other self employed person is, not for stupid moralistic reason. Just do what the rest of us do and keep your scorn for their choices in your head and drink yourself to death.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 3 days ago

Pretty sure they are already taxed; he just wants it to be extractive levels so he can moralize like a good puritan.

I think one of the highest earners is in Florida, and she's responded to him. But even in her case, she's only making millions per year.

I don't see this asshole suggesting we put a 100% "sin tax" on people that have over a billion in assets. Worshiping Mammon to that degree is not "sinful", just women that are giving men lustful thoughts.

No, sex is a religion. Just think of how often people say "Oh my GOD!"

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 1 points 3 days ago

Seems like a good opportunity for a betting pool.

This is the guy whose campaign was banned from every Waffle House in Florida. Being inflammatory is his shtick.

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 27 points 4 days ago (3 children)

How… do you get banned from a Waffle House?!?

[–] AngryRedHerring@feddit.online 36 points 3 days ago (2 children)

IIRC, the guy announced that he would be making campaign stops at a string of Waffle Houses, and Waffle House said "the hell you are"

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

allow me to rephrase the question.

what did he do to prompt that reaction.

[–] Burninator05@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

I thought they initially approved it before changing their minds. Probably over shit like this.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 2 points 3 days ago

It’s the first step to becoming a short order cook. At a Waffle House.

When they drop their masks...

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 6 points 3 days ago

...they put on their hoods.

[–] breezeblock@lemmy.ca 37 points 4 days ago (2 children)

This is the trash that this country now sadly loves

[–] TwodogsFighting 11 points 3 days ago

Always has.

[–] Lucidlethargy@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

It's less than a third of the country, but yeah... The brainworm party does love it.

[–] AlecSadler@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 3 days ago

It is not. It is 1/3 that supports it and ~1/3 that are too laissez-faire to have a real opinion and, thus, add support.

[–] LodeMike@lemmy.today 37 points 4 days ago (2 children)

Will this win or loose him the election

[–] aarch0x40@piefed.social 34 points 4 days ago

It's Florida, so, it will likely gain votes

[–] MML@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 days ago

The random black dude? I would hope win, I mean he's running right?

[–] kryptonianCodeMonkey@lemmy.world 13 points 3 days ago (2 children)

And this will ruin his prospects of being elected by Republicans, right?... RIGHT!?

[–] Archer@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

Of course not, conservatives don’t care what you do, they care what group you’re in

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] cmbabul@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Not now Anakin! Go fight some sand or children!

[–] ShaggySnacks@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 3 days ago

Yes....."fight".....children. - Republicans

[–] Smaile@lemmy.ca 8 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

This is a dangerous man to put into any position of power, let alone walk around freely...

[–] ClownStatue@piefed.social 19 points 3 days ago

Dude just sealed up his victory. All those Floridians, who “have black friends,” just made up their minds.

[–] liuther9@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago (1 children)
[–] WoodScientist@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Like all white nationalists, his penalty should be to be thrown alive into a deep pit full of bleach.

[–] BarneyPiccolo@lemmy.today 6 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

I'm surprised the Orange Turd does not change his endorsement.

[–] thesohoriots@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Didn’t Michael Richards do this bit in the early 2000s?

[–] the_tab_key@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago

Except this wasn't part of a joke
