Domestic short hair. It's got some unique coloration though doesn't it? I've never seen one freckled like that.
Assuming it's a real cat, my best guess is that it's a black & white cat with advanced vitiligo? I'm not aware of any coat genetics that would explain that sort of spotting pattern.
Its head shape doesn't really match a DSH though.

No, dumping ice cream on the cat isn't worth it. It's funny for a few minutes but then you have to clean it up and cats hold grudges.
