Sometimes I hate how much dems love being “above it all”. Like I would hate dems .001% less if they were petty enough to get rid of this statue and put one of Frederick Douglass in its place.

No doubt both this and gulf of America are going to stay and dems will pat themselves on the back because “we’re too nice to stoop to their level”.

Columbus was a fraud, until his death in early 1500s.

His titles, riches, power, etc at the time were directly tied to his having found a shortcut to The Indies. He stood to pay major penalties for being wrong. Instead, he insisted that it was in fact everyone else who can't read a map, and not him.

Of course members of this administration would consider him a hero.
