A bountiful harvest!

How many cats go in the cat bed is for the cats to decide.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 50 points 2 months ago (5 children)

Every time I count I get a different number of cats.

Took me a while to spot #3 lmao

[–] Notyou@sopuli.xyz 4 points 2 months ago

You're only technically correct!

[–] wax@feddit.nu 3 points 2 months ago (2 children)

There's a cat in the profile picture

[–] Diddlydee@feddit.uk 5 points 2 months ago

Which ain't in the bed

[–] Sculptor9157@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

But also the emoji for yet another at that rate.

[–] Flax_vert@feddit.uk 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Add the 2-3 hypothetical cats mentioned... 5?

[–] Zwiebel@feddit.org 13 points 2 months ago (1 children)

You might have to practise counting

[–] kamenlady@lemmy.world 9 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Hello I'm count Dracula.

Did it work?

[–] starlinguk@lemmy.world 7 points 2 months ago

As I was going to St. Ives

I met a man with seven wives

Every wife had seven sacks

Every sack had seven cats

Every cat had seven kits

Kits, cats, sacks, and wives

How many were going to St. Ives?

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Fuck bud you lose me after the man.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 8 points 2 months ago (1 children)

It's a trick question; the answer is 1, the person going to St. Ives. 2,801 are going the other way.

[–] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

But if you're only counting the

Kits, cats, sacks, and wives

Wouldn't that be zero?

Or is that just a distraction in the riddle?

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 months ago

It's just a reiteration of some of the elements of the riddle rather than a comprehensive list.

New religion discovered. "There was only enough cat bed for 2 or 3, but instead it held 8 cats"

[–] SoleInvictus@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 2 months ago

And Catrick said "Mew! Mew! Mewwww!" for the bowl was half empty and he feared his people were soon to starve, but the Lord descended amongst them and in their generosity filled every bowl with a bounty of Tuna and Scallop Feast.

The Lord commanded the cats to scratch not the rug or the furniture, and to only shit in the box in the living room, and in return promised their bowls would never remain empty.

And it was good, until the next day, when this was all forgotten.

That little seal point Siamese face poking out is adorable! Looks like the face at the bottom on the right is a sibling.

[–] lolola@lemmy.blahaj.zone 7 points 2 months ago

Sneaky surprise siamese <3

[–] MousePotatoDoesStuff@lemmy.world 19 points 2 months ago

Looks like it fits 2^3 cats.

[–] sheepishly@fedia.io 15 points 2 months ago

[–] Luminous5481@anarchist.nexus 15 points 2 months ago

[–] BaroqueInMind@piefed.social 11 points 2 months ago

Cat-hydra type shit.

That's what's called a passel. A soft & cuddly passel o' puss. Yup.

[–] tetris11@feddit.uk 8 points 2 months ago

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago (1 children)
[–] Soggy@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Maybe? I don't see any clipped ears.

[–] BeardededSquidward@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Is the ear clipped thing universal or just certain parts of the world?

[–] Soggy@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

A brief search confirms it in the US, Ireland, and Greece so while I'm not confident in saying it's for sure universal it seems likely that areas with a TNR program for feral cats probably do it.
