There's no case for self defence here. These guys weren't fearing for their lives and the situation was under control. There was even a spare ICE agent available to raise his arm and block people from coming any closer to the scene before they did the execution.
Also the video clearly shows the goons harrassing a lady which is what made the victim get involved.

That’s not what he said. He said the investigation would be the same as how they’ve been done over the past several years. I don’t recall any real investigations in the past several years.

Looks to me that guy with a green jacket behind the victim took out his gun PRIOR to the shots, which makes me think he fired the first shot. Also telling that he did not react the shots like the other ICE goons.
One guy was swinging his arm in huge circles whacking him underhanded with what looked to be a gun or a taser but on watching a different video he didn't seem to be the first one to fire
Not to defend him but looking closer at that part, i think he was whacking him with a pepper spray. That same goon later takes his gun out, which means he was not using it to hit the victim, and unloads his gun on the dead body, he also flinched before taking the gun out so i think he did not shoot first. I still mantain the green jacket ski mask guy started it.
