Contrary to Bovino’s claims, there is no reason to believe that the Trump administration will conduct a legitimate investigation of Saturday’s shooting.

That’s not what he said. He said the investigation would be the same as how they’ve been done over the past several years. I don’t recall any real investigations in the past several years.
