I've been taking to calling them I.C.E., sounding out each letter. Neuters the "cool" factor that I think they try for.

What Will You Say?

What do you think Jonathan Ross said to his children when he came home that evening after work?

At least this fucker's children still have parents, unlike Good's. Maybe that's what he told them: "I orphaned a little girl today".

There's a special place in hell for this motherfucker and his hierarchy...

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 51 points 6 days ago (1 children)

The only hell is the one we make for them.

Jonathan David Ross of St Paul, Minnesota.

[–] Hozerkiller@lemmy.ca 14 points 6 days ago (4 children)

Not to be confused with Jonathan Ross the comedian who to my knowledge has not executed anyone in Minneapolis.

Not to be confused with Jonathan Davis the front man for Korn who to my knowledge has not executed anyone in Minneapolis.

I feel bad for this Jonathan Ross, who's actually intelligent and funny, and whose internet visibility is going to get somewhat impacted for the next few years.

There are a few by that name. Wikipedia won't do it, but they just need to put on the redirection part, "not to be confused with the murderer".

Bringing this up for no reason.

Vigilante justice is a huge problem when the system fails. There's a reason the drug trade is so violent - because people in the drug trade have no legal way of settling disputes through normal channels.

So when Trump and Co think they're protecting their own by stonewalling investigations and preventing the justice system from working as intended, don't be surprised when people resort to vigilante justice and violence.

I met this guy through an online game. We chatted for a few hours while we did some game missions. He's from South Africa. Not 100 percent sure where but I know he doesn't have electricity for a few hours every day. Like a scheduled shut off.

Anywho.

He told me that they have a lot of issues with criminals, especially with sexual assault on women not being held accountable.

So the locals now have taken into their own hands. They often will hang the man in a public space. Or beat him to death.

No one says nothing.

His concern was that , surely some deserve that fate. But since it's not being done through a court system with investigation, it is possible that a disgruntled woman could get the people to kill someone. It's also possible that wrongful identification is made.

I don't think many women lie about rape. But I do think it does happen rarely.

But this guy from s.africa also admitted that it's the only way to keep the rape incidents in check because the men know they won't be prosecuted or held accountable by the law.

But they might end up beaten to death or hung from a flag pole.

He's such a lady killer he has to hide his face...

No, I don't mean he's good looking. I mean he literally kills ladies AND makes a child an orphan.
A murderous orphan maker.

I hope he gets what he deserves...

I feel like this is one of the simplest, safest ways anyone can help fight back against the tyranny. If you want to do something, but are afraid for your or your family's life - get a VPN, dig for ICE agents' personal information and post it online.

Hell, even us Europeans and people from all over the world can help out. Let's make sure their masks are worthless and that everybody knows perfectly well who they are.

We need more, what's his background?

We already know he was involved in a dragging incident several years ago, so he's not one of these freshman jackals who just joined up to abuse foreigners. This guy is a veteran ICE agent, probably the team leader. This is the guy who leads the idiot freshmen.

Exactly the kind of agent you'd give the illegal order to fire on a blocking vehicle, and know he'd follow it.

From another article: conservative Christian family, MAGA, Philippino immigrant wife, some family against his political views.

You know, the usual MAGA ignant.

I wish we could trust the justice system enough to not worry about the only justice coming from a vigilante. I wish we wouldn't all be labeled vigilantes for asking for justice, justice that we have good reason to believe will never come.

[–] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 20 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (3 children)

You'll get justice eventually, when the regime collapses and all those traitors, murderers and war criminals get they comeuppance in the next Nuremberg-style court.

But not now. And not for a long while probably.

This poor woman's family will probably never get closure.

It's crazy to me that in this rush towards a dictatorship, they won't even recognize that people can make mistakes, which is what they could have tried to pass this off. They have to make sure they signal people who do this get complete and absolute immunity, which should be ringing alarm bells for the type of people they are trying to employ, all the while the Republican party is complicit enough to do nothing about it and the state does nothing.

If these assholes can deploy their gestapo under the bullshit reason of immigration, at least bother to come with a bullshit reason of your own to deploy what you do control against them.

I'd need a new Death Note from all the names I'd be putting in it.

[–] SARGE@startrek.website 15 points 6 days ago

Remember you can slightly control the circumstances of the person whose name you wrote down, so it's entirely possible to have them become a serial killer and methodically go through their fellow SS until finally dying from being dragged under a flaming bus filled with proud boys and gasoline.

You know, as just a random example.

You can't be guilty of doxxing if your target isn't human

[–] damnedfurry@lemmy.world 55 points 6 days ago (5 children)

https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/the-extreme-danger-of-dehumanizing-rhetoric

Dehumanization is taking a page right out of their playbook, it's a bad move both morally and pragmatically. All of the worst things a human being has ever done to another human being started with dehumanization of the victim.

“And sin, young man, is when you treat people like things. Including yourself. That’s what sin is.”

“It’s a lot more complicated than that –”

“No. It ain’t. When people say things are a lot more complicated than that, they means they’re getting worried that they won’t like the truth. People as things, that’s where it starts.”

“Oh, I’m sure there are worse crimes –”

“But they starts with thinking about people as things …”

- Carpe Jugulum, Terry Pratchett

He is a human. Humans are capable of evil.

[–] ThunderQueen@lemmy.world 20 points 6 days ago

Unfortunately he is human. Just not humane.

[–] Bazell@lemmy.zip 18 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago) (3 children)

If it his real name then it is amazing how quickly internet had found it.

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 74 points 6 days ago

The Minnesota Star Tribune did, not the internet.

[–] funkless_eck@sh.itjust.works 26 points 6 days ago (1 children)

God, its terrifying how quickly I could find personal information about him and his family online too. If not this guy, something bad's gonna happen to one of these guys, which will be its own tipping point.

This is not a call for violence or doxxing.

Thanks entirely to the incompetent shitheads this administration wiped all over the federal government. They gave his name out.

That guy is so wrapped up in gear that he looks slovenly, or is wearing a sumo wrestler suit. Fuck him.

Also, I'm never watching BBC's Friday Night with Jonathan Ross ever again, just to be safe. /s

Obviously, american people either can take a lot of shit, or are just plane nazis. When Floyd got murdered at least people showed their rage on the streets.

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 27 points 6 days ago

People are showing their rage on the streets. It just isn't being shown by the media.
