Moderator Guidelines

  • Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
  • Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
  • When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
  • Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
  • Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
  • Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
  • Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
  • Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
  • Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
  • Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
  • Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
  • Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
  • First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
  • Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
  • No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
  • Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
  • Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.

Just looked it up out of curiosity. The Bad Dragon Archer (human shaped) in Medium is 8.58" circumference. You can do it OP!

[–] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 62 points 1 week ago (3 children)

I really don’t want to look this up, when you say “human shaped”, do you mean human phallus shaped, or human shaped?

[–] slacktoid@lemmy.ml 53 points 1 week ago

Considering its bad dragon, we can never be too sure

[–] BadJojo@lemmy.blahaj.zone 40 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I meant human penis, but knowing Bad Dragon I can totally imagine them making "Action figures" for your personal enjoyment.

[–] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 1 week ago

True Homo Erectus huehuehue

[–] hovercat@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 week ago

My friend was just gifted a "garden gnome" BD had as a gag gift, so it definitely wouldn't be outside the realm of possibility.

It can be both 😉

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 28 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Gonna spread some awareness here, bad dragon is a horrible company and there's lots better ones out there, in price, ethics, and quality. Twin tail creations, all night toys, and fantasy grove are all way better.

[–] SCmSTR@lemmy.blahaj.zone 23 points 1 week ago

I'm ootl. Why are they a horrible company?

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 8 points 1 week ago

Twin tails has fantastic customer service too. Absolutely 10/10 recommend.

[–] einfach_orangensaft@sh.itjust.works 15 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

i did the math thats only 6.8cm diameter, if you select the medium soft type material on checkout....thats totaly doable....and i am not even joking

[–] Anivia@feddit.org 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

It's especially doable if you use it for anal, since the anus can stretch a lot more

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 12 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

The anus is stretchy but if you're new to anal, no way you're going over 6" circumference for a while. This is like one of the few topics I can speak authoritatively on lol

[–] einfach_orangensaft@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

how to have your DM's flooded 101 :D

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 week ago

Hahaha either everyone's too polite or not interested

[–] optissima@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 week ago

This explains why anal ended so fast, ty for the insight.

[–] optissima@lemmy.ml 39 points 1 week ago

8in circumference is 2.55in (6.47cm) diameter. Sounds like a fun ride :)

[–] glitchdx@lemmy.world 27 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I fucking hope that's circumference not diameter because if it is then I've got a new shelf ornament.

[–] thespcicifcocean@lemmy.world 18 points 1 week ago

Worse, it's radius.

[–] GalacticSushi@lemmy.blahaj.zone 26 points 1 week ago

Mama didn't raise no quitter

[–] VoteNixon2016@lemmy.blahaj.zone 20 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I just love that so many of the comments are fellow blahaj users being like "I don't see the problem?"

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Can confirm I see no problem here.

[–] trashgirlfriend@lemmy.world 4 points 1 week ago

heh holy times

[–] Zizzy@lemmy.blahaj.zone 20 points 1 week ago

No pain no gain

[–] Siethron@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

The average real life penis circumference is somewhere between 4.5 and 5 inches iirc.

[–] Digit@lemmy.wtf 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Are women bringing down the average?

Oh wait... circumference !?

Are horses bringing up the average?

[–] Gladaed@feddit.org 7 points 1 week ago

Circumference is diameter*pi. I.e. real fucking big numbers.

[–] zaphod@sopuli.xyz 10 points 1 week ago

Improvise, adapt, overcome.

[–] Hazmatastic@lemmy.world 9 points 1 week ago

Ah, the ol' cheese wheel

[–] user224@lemmy.sdf.org 8 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago)

I am a certified idiot. I mixed it up with radius.

Edit: This seems to be the largest one https://www.huffpost.com/entry/worlds-largest-dildo-nsfw_n_57a26a60e4b0e1aac914b413

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I dunno, does it mount vertically or horizontally?

[–] applebusch@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I've got a 7". Most people can take that. 8" should be achievable.

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

7" circumference is too big for anal beginners, generally. Not by too much but I generally recommend closer to 1.5" diameter. 8" is pretty damn big, like you've got to have been doing some serious stretching for at least 6 months to fit it.

Source: size queen butt slut, my record is a 9" circumference all night toys rex

[–] einfach_orangensaft@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

fr had a horrible experience with BD when i had to get my Flint from the customs tax office... its all night toys eu based?

[–] pixeltree@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 1 week ago (2 children)

All night toys is us based but I do have some european recommendations if you want wm

[–] unknown@piefed.social 2 points 1 week ago

What are your european recommendations?

[–] BleatingZombie@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Do you have a recommendation for a good "beginner toy"?

[–] Honytawk@feddit.nl 6 points 1 week ago (1 children)

So now you got a joke gift

[–] LordAmplifier@pawb.social 10 points 1 week ago

A few years ago, I had this friend who I gave a one-litre bottle of rum for Christmas, but I put it in a big box that said "Anal-igator" on it and looked like the kind of box an oversized sex toy would come in, including naughty lizard art and all that stuff. He unwrapped it in front of his family but stopped when he saw a big "18+" thing on it. That's still one of my funniest memories, even though we're no longer in touch.

[–] djsoren19@lemmy.blahaj.zone 2 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I feel like this could be a fun challenge to conquer, but what about the height?

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 5 points 1 week ago

Built like a tuna a can, so about an inch high.

[–] NihilsineNefas@slrpnk.net 1 points 1 week ago

Like a pringles tube with veins
