Also what happened in 2017 that was exceptional? I feel like white supremacists have been on a steady roll.
2017, Charlottesville tikitorch parade and one of the Nazis killed a counter protester with his car.
Trump said the white power guys were good people.
Some black people do use it.
Some say it's derogatory, other say it isn't. I have never seen it used in a positive way.

Which was the earliest one of them all. It was before the election in 2016. When his supporters doubled down on it, and some of his female cultists began wearing "Trump can grab me by the pussy" t-shirts, then that was when I started realising that this was something quite different which didn't work by the normal rules.
At this point, I'm not blaming this orange blob completely.
Part of the blame is the American people who just accept all this as normal.
Most of the blame should be on the heritage foundation who is coordinating all of this.

Shit before 2016 it should have been over. The writing was on the wall even then and people thought we were being melodramatic or reactionary.

Never forgive Republican voters. There are no good ones, they aren't friends, they aren't family. I'd say they were dead to me if they weren't already something worse than dead. They're fascists.
Yeah there was some dude on npr the other day talking about how he finally "left maga" and he regrets stuff now. But like you were a full adult and loving this shit. I'm sure he's fed up with trump specifically but I also think he'll get right on board with the next big bully asshole because that's actually who he is.
What is so bizarre is you could make a list ten times as long and still only be scratching the surface.
