It is such a shame that in our society his (presumably consensual) gay affair is bigger news than his participation in rape and trafficking of children/teens.
I couldn't give two shits about him blowing another man, that shouldn't even be an issue (past the fact that is was probably cheating, which no one seems to even mention) and it is sad and infuriating that this might endup be what pushes away his hardcore supporters and not the FUCKING PEDO SEX RING
Trump has been in politics for a decade now, and he already served a term as president. Not only that, but he has done just about every reprehensible thing you could possibly think of. I think we've officially reached a point where Trump's base is truly a cult in the most literal sense.
Anybody who is capable of independent thought, whether they are leftist, progressive, liberal, centrist, conservative, far right, or even MAGA has already jumped off the bandwagon at some point or another in the past decade. The only people left in his base are the most purified loyalists and the slimiest opportunists. These two groups will never, ever turn on Trump no matter what happens. Even if Jesus himself came down from heaven and told them Trump was a bad guy, they will turn against Jesus and stand by Trump.
The point is that the idea that this scandal is doing anything at all to push his hardcore supporters away from him in November, 2025 is pure fiction. Trump could give his under aged trans lover a satanic themed abortion on live television, and his loyalist cult will not care whatsoever.
People are kinda odd so in what their limit is, it's entirely possible there are folks who will if not fully turn on Trump will at the very least stop engaging with Trump aligned shit. Folks have weird limits that are entirely biased and arbitrary, while I may not know yours I for example have no problem with torture if it's vigilantic and I agree but if a state did it I'd be calling for the blood of the torturers. With them changing their opinions I'll take inaction.

I don't think that's true. Sometimes mocking them means mocking others as well. I don't think homophobic insults are okay, even towards homophobes.

you both make good points. sometimes the most verbal damage you can do to an individual involves using their twisted logic against them. whenever you mock someone, there's collateral damage and that ought to be considered. i'd hope the folk i know and care about understand when we're mocking someone/-thing along reasoning that we ourselves don't follow.
since there's inherent anonymity on the best parts of the internet (like here), that last bit of understanding is a lot harder to reach.
On the one hand I agree, but on the other hand there is a problem, especially when you consider children (but not only) that they moss the nuance. I recall as a child using homophobic slurs because I did not understand how bad they were. For me they were just curse words and it took me a while to grow as a person to understand the context behind those slurs. And the thing is that nobody in my life is especially homophobic, they just don't understand why using those kinds of words is problematic, and they never bothered to teach me. I myself am not straight, and when I came out, nobody had a problem with it, and everybody was very accepting. But it just goes to show that even people who are accepting of it are not necessarily understanding the nuance of using a slur, and therefore I personally believe that you just shouldn't use insults that are homophobic, racist or otherwise bigoted in nature.
I think everyone is also missing the very real possibility that this might not have been an adult male. I donโt think we should presume it was consensual, in part because I donโt think we can presume the individual was old enough to consent.

Context? I've been lost of reality recently.
There's an Epstein email about Donny sucking off someone going by Bubba. People are speculating this is Bill Clinton because he's gone by that name, but its also a nickname given initially by a small child that can't yet properly pronounce the word brother.
Isn't the care being unaffordable the whole point of the act?
He's literally the one making it unaffordable too which is just unfathomable.
