Because I'm tired of this illegitimate felon squatter in the White House getting away with all this bullshit and any time he "takes a loss" all he has to do is nothing.
Court orders mean jack shit if he can just ignore them and have no consequences. I don't even k ow why they're so scared of this Epstein stuff. Like they'll have any real consequences? What's gonna happen, a strongly worded letter of disapproval?
"Loss" after "loss", and no consequences that mean anything. It's hard to have faith when this happens over and over again.

Seeing as the commenter is Norwegian, there is not more for them to do than to nod unsurprisingly at the news and encourage everyone to divert faster away from everything US made to hit carrot top where it hurts.
It's only defeatism if you refuse to adapt and escalate to stop it from being true.

In this case, the post was asking for people's expectations regarding this story specifically, and the response is entirely valid. It's very reasonable to think that this one news story isn't likely to be the tipping point.
It's different when people reply to every story that is in any way bad for Trump with a comment about how none of it matters, nothing will change, and no one cares. As though anything that doesn't result in Trump being immediately impeached, incarcerated, or inhumed is completely worthless. Much like how sit ups are useless because no matter how many I do today, I still won't have a six pack when I'm done.
All those comments do is demoralize people and discourage them from trying to support opposition to Trump in any way.
