If it's flattering, I'd commend it but I would secretly put that person on a watch-list.

If it's not flattering, I'd be amused at first before one-upping them by hiring an artist that'll put their likeness in the most disgusting portrayal I can think of and spread that shit like fire.

[–] centipede_powder@lemmy.world 11 points 10 hours ago

Really depends on the quality of the art and how many tentacles they drew inside me. At a certain point too many tentacles is just gauche.

[–] Jhuskindle@lemmy.world 6 points 9 hours ago

It has happened to me and I was flattered. As long as it remains fantasy only, I'm fine with it! I'm ace though so I dont really care about the sexualization part.

[–] ICastFist@programming.dev 1 points 6 hours ago

I'd ask for royalties or whatever it is for use of my likeness

[–] umbraroze@piefed.social 5 points 10 hours ago

[Random glance at the Krita recent files] [Ponderous inhale] It sure would be weird if someone hypothetically would be doing that, but I'm not sure I would be able to do anything about that.

[–] Crackhappy@lemmy.world 5 points 10 hours ago

I'd ask for copies so I can wank to it.

[–] morphballganon@mtgzone.com 6 points 12 hours ago

Be flattered for a moment. Then decide to stay away from them, since they're creepy, apparently.

[–] AceFuzzLord@lemmy.zip 11 points 14 hours ago

First off, wonder why anyfur would want to make hentai out of my ugly ass.

Second, probably give them my email and ask if it's okay if I get a copy ( even if I have to pay a small fee ). If it's digital, that's an easy copy.

I'd love to see how they either turn me into some average to godlike looking beaver or if I'm the ugly bastard. Wouldn't complain either way.

[–] bookmeat@lemmynsfw.com 5 points 12 hours ago

Nothing. Stop obsessing over people obsessing over you.

[–] MrScottyTay@sh.itjust.works 3 points 12 hours ago

I'd feel violated. Even if the drawings aren't technically me, but are styled after me, it shows a glimpse of their creepy obsessive nature with "myself" in the middle without my consent. The implications scream louder than the act itself.

[–] Beebabe@lemmy.world 17 points 19 hours ago (1 children)

Have nothing to do with them. This gives me the ick. If they were distributing I would obviously go through whatever channels possible to have that cease.

[–] Daft_ish@lemmy.dbzer0.com 10 points 18 hours ago (2 children)

I seriously think this is the normie response. As you can see by this thread, we weird here on lemmy.

[–] blarghly@lemmy.world 7 points 15 hours ago (1 children)

This is definitely the normie response to the actual situation. But everyone imagines someone drawing them and imagines being flattered. And they imagine the artist being hot and charming.

I imagined some gay greasy nerd and I would still feel flattered, lol. But women are wanted kinda by default so I understand if they wouldn't appreciate it the same way and just find it gross or whatnot.

[–] Beebabe@lemmy.world 2 points 17 hours ago

Ahhh, I was genuinely concerned bc I do use the ellipses and dashes a lot. Which is apparently a sign of being a bot.

[–] rain_enjoyer@sopuli.xyz 116 points 1 day ago (3 children)

there is an ukrainian soldier who shared footage from his raids and became sort of internet nanocelebrity on reddit because of it. at one point somebody made anime girl character based on him, and asked about opinion he said something to the effect of "i feel secure enough in my masculinity to jack off to this"

[–] DickFiasco@sh.itjust.works 62 points 1 day ago

Russia doesn't stand a chance against this man.

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 30 points 1 day ago

Truly the hero we need

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 9 points 21 hours ago

"Would you fuck me? Yeah, I'd fuck me."

lolololololol

No but for real this is the kind of actual self-confidence and security in one's own identity that is actually healthy masculinity.

[–] Venus_Ziegenfalle@feddit.org 4 points 15 hours ago

Laugh my ass off and ask for a copy most likely

[–] chicken@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 16 hours ago

Take their images, train LoRa, put on Civitai. If it's of me anyway and they didn't ask it's not like they have grounds to complain about it.

[–] faythofdragons@slrpnk.net 13 points 22 hours ago

Demand royalties?

[–] atro_city@fedia.io 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Be very flattered somebody thought I was worth drawing.

[–] blarghly@lemmy.world 5 points 15 hours ago

Someone drew me once in my life, and I still have the little index card they drew me on

[–] deegeese@sopuli.xyz 28 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Sweet, a new profile pic for me!

[–] DrDystopia@lemy.lol 14 points 1 day ago

Yes I would do them.

[–] treadful@lemmy.zip 6 points 20 hours ago

Ask to see it.

[–] Nemo@slrpnk.net 9 points 22 hours ago

Obviously take it as a compliment.

[–] socsa@piefed.social 18 points 1 day ago

Would you do me?

I'd do me

Someone dressed as me for a Halloween costume one year. I think I'd be flattered, to be honest!

[–] Dorkyd68@lemmy.world 4 points 19 hours ago* (last edited 19 hours ago)

Are we vibing? Im gonna need some background

[–] HobbitFoot@thelemmy.club 8 points 23 hours ago

Depends on the features.

[–] Billy_fuccboi@lemmy.world 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Depends on the features exaggerated

[–] greenbit@lemmy.zip 2 points 5 hours ago

Nostril kink

Disturbed and disgusted.

[–] RBWells@lemmy.world 4 points 20 hours ago

Be very confused.

[–] sp3ctr4l@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 21 hours ago* (last edited 21 hours ago)

If it was like, inflation or some other very odd, nonconsenual kind of kink, somebody pretending I'm their sibling or something... yeah that would not be ok.

Barring that kind of nonsense?

Flattering!

I've never been the basis of an erotic artwork, but I have had guys and gals give me some fairly explicit uh, physical attribute based comments... less explicit, but more common... particularly gals, would be just actually jealous of my eyelashes and hair, sometimes literally pouting about how unfair it is that they don't have them.

Its a compliment.

[–] braydan@lemmynsfw.com 6 points 22 hours ago

Pics or it didn't happen

[–] XTL@sopuli.xyz 9 points 1 day ago

Probably click like and subscribe.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 5 points 22 hours ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

I'd ask for a cut of all sales that are using my likeness or sue them for using it without my permission.

Otherwise, there's no way it would be news to me since I'm the one comissioning the art.

[–] kelpie_returns@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

If that was all there is to it, I wouldn't mind much personally. I dont think it's right to push someone's boundaries like that, but this specific example of it doesn't bother me all that much (as long as I am the subject, at least).

If that was only one step in the process though, I may be a bit annoyed or concerned, depending on what else is going on.

[–] bjoern_tantau@swg-empire.de 8 points 1 day ago
