Does this imply the story about a trans roommate/partner has been debunked?
A couple hours before reading about the roommate, I read a story quoting "Jay", a 40 year old muscle car fanatic who'd been dating Robinson:
“He was pretty shy, he was just a car enthusiast,” the perplexed forty-year-old sighs, refusing to give his last name. “We just talked about our love for muscle cars, the noise they make and the way they drive."
This is the Onion, and writing an article like this calling out transphobia is correct even if that story were completely true
