Praxis, now if only he'd hunt down outdoor cats and raise the age of consent to 25.

raise the age of consent to 25

Serious? Or is this hyperbole? Genuine question as like 80% of people in Britain have done it before they're 20 so I'm just a little confused as to how this would play out. Age gap laws to permit it within a range?

I regularly make a similar joke. Mandate celibacy, I say. Send sex havers to sex haver island.

Jokes are only funny when they reveal a hidden truth, the joke here is we live in a r-word culture obsessed with youth.

There's a small but vocal movement of people online who want to raise it to 25, but from what I can tell they spend most of their arguing with Wikipedia admins over the age of consent wiki page.

I've seen people on this sub advocate for it being raised to 21, which seems more reasonable but idk if I agree.

Personally I think it should only be legal to have sex with people older than you.

Sex should be illegal fullstop. Doing crimes is cool as hell. This will finally spice things up at home, I'm hoping.

I met someone in real life who wanted to raise it to 25. She was an attorney.

I had an ex who would probably support that too. She thought everyone under 30 was a "child", except for herself of course.

25?! Make it 30.

Or the people that allow their cats to be outdoor cats.

That's dedication. I posted about this guy a while back I thought for a minute it was the same story but I guess he's still at it.

Adults need more actual playgrounds with sandboxes to play in.

Stuart Cox, a British hiker who goes by the online name The Peak District Viking, had made it his mission to destroy every human-made stone stack he finds.

stacking stones destroys ecosystems, in this essay I will make the argument that stone henge should be torn down

I can't read anything about such and such viking, without presuming he doesn't have the best intentions. No, I didnt read the article. :)

I missed this struggle session. Why is stacking rocks bad?

[–] InevitableSwing@hexbear.net 4 points 1 month ago

The decorative structures, he says, are destroying local archaeology, damaging trail systems and disrupting wildlife.

I wondered if there would be a struggle sesh in this thread but hasn't been one at all. Maybe the site has finally has decided rock stacks are bad.
