I've found very little reliable information on it but it seems the Israeli foreign ministry contacted her mother to tell her they found a DNA-checked "skull fragment" suggesting she was dead since October 7th.

I have literally zero proof of this but I genuinely consider it likely the IDF killed her (most likely through bombings), found her subsequently, and are now lying as usual.

The other alternatives mentioned are A: "the population remaining in Israel and importing the Palestinian Authority rule." and B: "the population remaining in the village and the emergence of local Arab rule."
