I start seeing it IRL now too, it's fucking disgusting.
Wily was literally starving all the time. He wasnt able to run top speed because he didn't have the energy and his muscles are atrophying.
Though this is still mostly all his own fault. He always bought machines to try and catch the road runner instead of exercising and if he could order dumb contraptions, he could have also just ordered Domino's.
He did live out in the desert, probably outside the delivery range of fast food.
Wasn't he shown eating canned food at various points in the cartoons?

But Wile E. Coyote didn't run after the Road Runner. He was a "Super Genius" so he used traps and contraptions and purchased solutions to achieve what he was above. If he had just chased after the Road Runner, he would eventually catch it.
That is part of the joke.
Iirc there's an episode where he chases RR and catches it, then scratches his head for a bit wondering what to do next.. then ties it to a rocket for no reason, with entirely expected outcomes.

Disney lies to kids all the time. It was Disney that came up with the lemmings jumping off cliffs en masse idea. Turns out, it was just someone off camera literally shoving them off the edge. Mass murder, not mass suicide.
