I understand that Japan has had problems with crazy cults recently
Brother, they've been having problems with crazy cults since the 80's.
How about this:
We pay politicians in "X times the minimum wage"; for the sake of this example I'll say 30x the minimum wage (too much? Too little? I don't know, that's not important rn)
The thing is, they can't change this number, at all. The only way they can increase their salaries is to increase the minimum wage.
So, by this technicality, lesbians are the only straight people in the world?
I think "Disturbing and disgusting" is putting it too lightly.
Repulsive? revolting? I don't know, I'm not good with words.
What I know is that example from that article is straight up pedo talk.
Well, depending on how long it takes you to die, you could experience it.
You could die instantly, so no experience there.
But it could also take you a couple minutes to die from blood loss if you get impaled or maimed.
Or it could take you hours, if you're having internal bleeding.
And you might say: "But you still survived the crash itself" and you're not wrong; but for me, dying from "injuries sustained during a plane crash" still counts.
I see them a bunch on that environment. There isn't a day I don't hear "We'll fax the orders to [ insert lab name]" or "tell your doctor's office to fax us the referral again" or some variation of that.
Thinking about it makes sense from a privacy and security perspective, like you say.
I have the theory that if it wasn't for the movies, the series wouldn't have gotten a fraction of the popularity it has.
Specially the music. I think the score did most of the heavy lifting in giving the movies that "whimsy magical feeling"
Abiotic Factor
And seeing how I'm not a scientist, I'm going to have a really bad time.

Not to undermine your point, dental services are still kinda expensive for regular people, but this is also Tijuana, a border city where stuff is more expensive.
And that dental clinic probably inflates their prices since they provably service a number of foreigners.

He also doesn't look the type to like tokusatsu, yet there he is, the absolute weeb (and love him because of that).
