That's not a shitpost, that's wholesome

[–] TheSambassador@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago (3 children)

Why can't shitposts also be wholesome?

[–] Grostleton@lemmy.dbzer0.com 20 points 1 week ago

Poor diet, usually.

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 11 points 1 week ago

they can be wholesome, but they also have to be, you know, shitposts

We should implement that here in the US.

[–] sundray@lemmus.org 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

They're working on it, but the US version will just let you buy people.

[–] Booboofinget@lemmy.world 7 points 1 week ago (1 children)

You are wrong! They are developing a subscription model for it.

[–] sundray@lemmus.org 3 points 1 week ago

Damn, they're always one step ahead!

The only true way to shitpost, become ungovernable

This community is blatently unmoderated, isn't it? It really shows.

Also, who the fuck is upvoting this and why? While it's wholesome, it's NOT a shitpost and has no business being here. Yet somehow it's making the front page. The fuck is wrong with this community?

[–] swordfish@lemmy.world 32 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I must agree with the simple fact that this isnt a shitpost and shoukd be removed. I still think this is cool if true and am happy i saw this post.

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 week ago (1 children)

There needs to be a way to transplant existing posts.

[–] JustARegularNerd@aussie.zone 5 points 1 week ago

Once upon a time, it was called changing boards on a forum.

[–] garbagebagel@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

I upvoted cause I didn't notice what community it was in. While my heart continues to want the upvote because it's a nice post, I will take your point and remove it :(

Because it can also help you build prejudices for free while at the library

[–] ieatpwns@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Idk I feel like the people who are trying to reinforce their prejudices wouldn’t be the type of person looking to hear different povs

[–] MajinBlayze@lemmy.world 10 points 1 week ago

Or visit a library, for that matter

[–] SomethingBlack@lemmy.world 29 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I love this in theory, but I can absolutely promise you, the people who need to attend won't attend

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 11 points 1 week ago

So it's something fun to do and those shitbirds won't be there? Is there a pamphlet I can give to my librarian?

[–] MuteDog@lemmy.world 24 points 1 week ago

So... these people just hang out at the library all day every day?

[–] guy_threepwood@lemmy.world 20 points 1 week ago (1 children)

This isn’t just Denmark. And businesses often host events with them: https://humanlibrary.org/

[–] FLP22012005@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Weirdly it says so in the final sentence of the text. The first sentence isn't wrong, of course.

[–] Kyle_The_G@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago (2 children)

I always thought a cool idea for a book or tv series would be deep dives into random people's stories. I love that stuff. interesting work, sports, vacation, cool possessions, life events and achievements...

Watch the show high maintenance

[–] Angelusz@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago
