ain't no way this wasn't originally about applying thermal paste to a cpu

[–] HumanBehaviorByBjork@hexbear.net 18 points 2 years ago (1 children)

there's only one correct way to do that? if you're putting any more than a pea you're putting too much.

[–] President_Obama@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago

Not really, but a pea size is good, so is a line. Doesn't matter

[–] roux@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I'm lawful good for thermal paste. You gotta use the whole tube.

[–] ChaosMaterialist@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago

It starts like Lawful Evil, and with a straightedge you get to Lawful Good

[–] iByteABit@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago

Pea sized dot in the middle, drink the rest

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 29 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Lawful good is an absolute nightmare, that's way too much. I personal stick to the chaotic column

[–] YearOfTheCommieDesktop@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago (3 children)

what if it's a glue stick 🤔

[–] Abracadaniel@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I haven't used a glue stick since grade school.

well if you're gluing two sheets of paper together... I haven't done that since grade school either I don't think

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Chaotic Good or Lawful Evil, depending on how it is employed.

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Lawful evil with a glue stick is heresy. The edges will fold up

same with liquid glue tbh. no way it spreads out thaaaaat far

[–] sharkfucker420@lemmy.ml 5 points 2 years ago

Glue stick is acceptable but I haven't used one in years. I still went with chaotic neutral when I used a glue stick though

[–] ChaosMaterialist@hexbear.net 22 points 2 years ago (3 children)

Chaotic Neutral. Chaos stays winning! party-sicko

[–] WoofWoof91@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago

strikes the best balance between actually sticking it down and not using absurd amounts of glue

[–] jaeme@hexbear.net 17 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Lawful good scares me. Im guessing that this is for glue sticks because sticking that much elmurs glue on something would destroy it.

[–] WIIHAPPYFEW@hexbear.net 14 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Even with glue sticks the paper’s gonna be so fuckin bumpy once the glue dries lol

[–] jaeme@hexbear.net 11 points 2 years ago

This has unlocked memories of middle school I thought I repressed.

[–] Catradora_Stalinism@hexbear.net 17 points 2 years ago

lawful good is the most fucking evil thing ever

[–] zifnab25@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago

Neutral Evil is using a paint brush to apply glue.

[–] NoisyOwl@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago

Every time I've seen a professional glue something, it's been box+X or box+stripes. Which was mostly before the invention of spray glue, because obviously that's the better answer.

[–] WittyProfileName2@hexbear.net 8 points 2 years ago

Chaotic evil. just go where your hands lead you, then apply glue to the bits aren't holding.

[–] CyborgMarx@hexbear.net 8 points 2 years ago

No matter which way I do it, I'm never satisfied with the results

[–] FuckyWucky@hexbear.net 8 points 2 years ago

Depends on how I'm feeling tbh.

[–] cmhickman358@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago

Neutral Evil but instead of individual lines it snakes back and forth down the page so it's just one long winding line

[–] Alaskaball@hexbear.net 7 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Where does making a N or Z fall in the alignment chart?

[–] axont@hexbear.net 6 points 2 years ago (1 children)

I can't remember ever using glue on paper

I did it a lot in grade school but I'm old, so I don't know if its common anymore

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Depends on what I'm gluing. I treat wood different than plastic, different than paper, etc..

[–] blakeus12@hexbear.net 12 points 2 years ago (1 children)

how do you put glue on paper?

[–] SpiderFarmer@hexbear.net 3 points 2 years ago

True Neutral to Chaotic Neutral, though Lawful Good is nice on some rare cuts. But also, you don't want to see my homemade banjo.

[–] Beaver@hexbear.net 5 points 2 years ago

Lawful Neutral on wood, Chaotic Evil on everything else.

[–] FumpyAer@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I don't use glue that often, but I'd say for mayo on a sandwich it's most like Lawful Neutral.

[–] Chapo_is_Red@hexbear.net 4 points 2 years ago

I'm either chaotic evil or lawful neutral

[–] Barabas@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago

Chaotic evil. Mostly as I haven't glued paper since I was a dumbass child.

[–] frogbellyratbone_@hexbear.net 2 points 2 years ago

ahhhhhhhhhhh where do i fit???
