I watched CNN for ~3 seconds.
I'd love to get $100,000s (More?) for my shitposts.
Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.
Rules:
-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --
-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --
-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --
-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --
-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--
-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--
-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --
-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

US airforce just conducted an evacuation flight from Basra, Iraq; to Amman, Jordan. 350 people on board a single C-17 transport aircraft, possibly including third country nationals.
Iraq to Jordan sorry I'm super tired
Preliminary count of US fighter and bomber aircraft in the Middle East, according to everything I've viewed so far. A lot of these movements took place months ago, a few in the last few days.
At bases throughout the Middle East, aboard USS Carl Vinson and Nimitz, and at Diego Garcia and Guam:
Think that's a total of 262 aircraft. Anyone feel free to double check the numbers. Israel has 270 fighter aircraft of their own as far as I know.
Just want to give an idea of what's been deployed. The EA-18G numbers are likely significantly higher, I was going off of the standard 4 aircraft per electronic attack squadron. But that will likely be higher when anticipating a conflict.
GUESS WHO'S GOING TO THE HOSPITAL AGAIN?
Bolsonaro's tests indicate viral pneumonia, says doctor. The former president underwent a series of tests in Brasilia on Saturday (21), after canceling his schedule in recent days due to feeling unwell. After falling ill during an agenda in Goiás, former president Jair Bolsonaro (Liberal Party) underwent laboratory and imaging tests on Saturday morning (21) at the DF Star hospital in Brasília. According to doctor Cláudio Birolini, who is accompanying the ex-president, the results indicated a case of viral pneumonia.
Birolini said that Bolsonaro had been coughing since last week. Today, he underwent a CT scan of his chest and abdomen, after also feeling sick to his stomach. "He probably had viral pneumonia, he was coughing a lot last week. We're going to give him a few days of antibiotics," said Birolini at a press conference on Saturday.
