This horror finally being over (and I hope it stays that way) makes it even more clear that all the suffering and human lives lost was in the end completely pointless. Nothing was achieved, nothing positive happened as a result of that. Just misery and death.
I hope you find the strengh to still celebrate with joy and afterwards start rebuilding your homes. You really deserve to live in peace now after all of that.
