Kansas is such a brutal drive. Whenever I go Kansas>Eastern Colorado, there's a good eight hours of absolutely nothing to look at until all of a sudden the Rockies appear.

Oof yeah it gets bleaker and bleaker the further into the drive you get too. Like at least the Flint Hills are pretty. But there's absolutely nothing of value west of Salina, just home-made anti-abortion billboards and the world's crunchiest wheat fields
