you're not wrong. and the united states being the worlds only superpower, what happens here, effects everyone everywhere. i thought everyone was ready to admit this after trump fucked up the global pandemic response through ineptitude. doesn't matter where you live, who you are, or what you do, anywhere in the world, the united states has fallen to a fascist who in league with russia and the saudis is going to destroy what we've come to rely on as western democratic civilization. there is no where to run. there is no where to hide. the very best the vast non billionaire majority of us everywhere will be able to do is survive.

That's fair- I never bothered to check. It should be safe to assume though that even a vent posted here is of the shitpost variety, but this one isn't
If it wasn't going g to happen now it was going to happen 4 years from now. These people were never going to go away. Now we just have to let them burn the country down to completion before people come back to their senses. It sucks we have to be the ones living through it though
For some reason it just falls into the same category in my head as all the other horrible shit happening around the world. With all the wars and genocide and torture and slavery and starvation, i just cant bring myself to care about the US election. I know rationally that all those things will be worsened to some degree by trump, but it just doesnt evoke anything in me.
