Has anyone found MacroRNA yet?

[-] bradorsomething@ttrpg.network 2 points 3 weeks ago

Does anyone have a copy of Macron’sDNA?

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago

Sure. I used to have a MacroRNA slinky as a kid and it did walk down stairs alone or in pairs!

MAGA is not going to like that.

They wouldn't even understand the title of the article, let alone the content. They just want the dopamine hit from their blind rage.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Of course they wouldn't. They'd just see 'mRNA' and 'Nobel Prize' and start screaming about how they were giving the Nobel to the people who made the deadly COVID vaccine that will kill billions any day now.

Probably... But isn't the "mRNA" used in vaccines a different thing? It certainly isn't a new discovery.

But right. I almost forgot who we were talking about. Of course none of that will matter.

[-] FlyingSquid@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

They wouldn't know.

[-] TokenBoomer@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

Why does this look like a timeshare presentation?

An entire room of the greatest minds on Earth and none one thought to ask a graphic designer smh *Edit: love PowerPoint vibe tho. Maybe it was a Choice.

Maybe it was a Choice.

Correct, it's deliberate. The Nobel Prize ceremony is not the Oscars. The Nobel Foundation puts their money toward the winners, not glitz and glam.

Anyone taking odds on how long it'll be before we discover nano-RNA? Life is exceedingly complex, and it's a wonder that it happens at all.
