How the heck did he even put that much weight on and then lose it all again? Was there some story behind that?
Eating a lot to gain, personal trainer and steroids to lose.
All just for a bit.
Yeah, Rob McElhenney thought it would be funny for Mac to gain and lose a bunch of weight with little to no explanation.
wow.. that's.. uhh.. dedication to the craft I guess
He got absolutely stressed for one of the more recent seasons and was back to normal after that season as well
for a second i thought you were joking and that was the cause of his weight gain.. made me lol for a second, but then i read it again and that's sad :(
There was an auto correct there. 'Stressed'should be 'shredded'. He got a MCU bod, and while describing the process later he talks about how not sustainable it is and if he didn't have a TV show budget to hire trainers and stuff it wouldn't not be possible.
ahh okay lol
There's a bonus feature on the season 8 DVD about the process and there's an interview with Caitlin Olsen (Dee and Rob's wife IRL) "How did I feel about my husband intentionally gaining sixty pounds for a joke? Oh it was a treat, he started snoring really loud, sweating a lot and everything smelled like fast food. I'm sad to see him lose it."
