Americans had a multiyear breakdown over having to wear a mask, they will not be able to handle the war economy going berserk requires.
The pretty minimal social reorganizating we did for covid felt great, if we weren't going to be on the wrong side of WWIII, I'd almost be looking forward to seeing the entire economy mobilized.
