Trump claims he will send $5,000 to every citizen if Republicans hold on to control of Congress

Trump has claimed he will send every citizen $5,000 if Republicans retain control of the US House and Senate. He provided no details about where he would source this money from or the legality of the incentive.

“So if the Republicans win, you win with us … it will be called the Trump dividend,” the president said.

I think we're in agreement here, my point was he was pretty unremarkable until he made it much more known to the public at large how much of a flaming asshole he was at the back end of his term which is when his party started to throw him out the door, e.g. he violated the axiom at that point (and that itself says a lot, considering how much liberals love to make principled stands with their losers)
