idk what to think, with everything in the world I haven't been following Venezuela too closely.
The option was de facto not getting any money or de jure getting something.
The U.S. will not be able to make good on actually getting access to and using all of the oil they have supposedly purchased, while Venezuela gets some extremely needed cash.
It's not a good situation for Venezuela, but not unrecoverable.
