I feel like the Navy could get a cargo vessel and move shipping containers between boats with cranes.

edit: seems we've got fourteen of these guys, and here's a wikipedia image of a carrier getting replenished by two of them at once

Yeah I think if they wanted to do that they probably don't want to be in range of a missile that could hit them in the middle of doing cargo stuff, so I believe they'd got to pull back far enough they nor the Iranians can strike each other
