And I use "normal" in scare quotes, because, according to whom, exactly, capitalism? Society? Yourself? Some of the "weirdest" people I've met in my life where also some of the nicest and actually helped me out. People you'd peg as "normal"? Well I've had my fair share of shit with them. I'm not about to put up with some reddit lord trying to score points with cool kid podcasters by throwing people who feed the homeless under the bus, fuck you very much.

(a) you sound like soviet poster

(b) unless your interlocutor is in philosophy, even if they know this stuff, it still takes time to retranslate the meaning (analytical philosophy worst european invention btw) of the sentence

(c) politicians talk like middleschoolers, there is a reason for that, you can ramp up precision and wording depending on audience

(d) good rule of thumb for slurs is can a person with that characteristic (or people loving them) receive your utterance? (say by reading a tweet, or hearing you talk in a bar) -never use it, if so. the reason for clean speech is in not offending those you don’t want to offend, not because of a thought police/authority/tolerance whatever, it’s about being caring while talking to potentially thousands via social media (which encompasses probably all human conditions by statistics alone). and it is different when you talk to coworkers/friends, because there are literally two of you.

That's optimistic. I suspect a normie hearing "proletariat" won't even know what it means enough to be put-off by it. It'll just be incomprehensible jargon, like hearing techies talk about computer parts.

Also it's not worth getting into too extensively, but if you insist on doing slur-o-nometry, I think the main thing is just if the term is reactionary or not because we shouldn't be tailists. It's usually good to avoid offending people, but that's not the only factor.

But this is all missing one of the most core elements of the trueanon thing, which is basically just "mask any neurodivergence". Very frequently when someone says "be normal" they are just saying that.

I use "dialectics" cause most of the therapy I've done is DBT, dialectical behavioral therapy lol 😅
