Some of the worst pain I've ever experienced was when I hurt my balls and they got filled with fluid. It really feels like whoever is pushing this stuff is just trying to indirectly maim as many people as possible, like that hitting your face with a hammer thing. Millenial teens could be cruel, but I can't remember any trends like these modern ones when I was a teenager, really does feel like a society in complete collapse and people just looking to hurt others by any means.

That's quite possible. It's probably more likely than this being a proper thing people are being convinced to do. I feel like any account pushing for ball enlarging on social media would probably get banned for it.
