I was watching majority report, and in response to a caller asking if platner would be the next fetterman or what to do if he does end up being an actual nazi and Sam played it off like fetterman is a one off not a constant in the dnc. I know Sam's super lib sometimes but is disturbing how easily even he's going on about how fetterman isn't systemic in America politics. Let alone just saying we needed to wait for platner to show if he's actually a nazi in office rather than before 🤮

My theory is Fetterman is normal middle of the road Democrat but he has zero style and is a very sloppy, messy person. Other Democrats are slick enough that we don't see this side of them but Fetterman has literal brain damage so everything hangs out. Otherwise he is a median Democrat

That's the logic at Bluesky. They often resort to phony off-the-cuff phraseology when they claim they aren't Platner apologist yet they clearly are. They say weird things nobody would say face-to-face in real life.

There is no "defense" of Platner, there's a recognition that should that oaf win his vote will be valuable.
