I just finished watching Age of Attraction and I'm pretty sure the moral of the show is that age gap relationships are unethical (that's what reddit says)

I don't remember asking for an ethical crisis for my birthday ๐Ÿ™„

What should I do?

This whole age gap policing has gone waaaay too far.

Exploitation, abuse, induced dependency, these are all bad things. Abusers can go after people who are too old to think straight or too young to know better, but a moral panic about a 50 year old dating a 40 year old is ridiculous.

This is a high school mentality in the real world.

You can even have a child be the abuser. One community I'm in had a case of a 13 year old lying about their age and manipulating MULTIPLE older teenagers. People are just complex.

A band once said highschool never ends. I think they were onto something.

Bowling For Soup either made it or covered it. Hard to tell with punk tbh

Some people never move beyond highschool. It is where they peaked and they either get a job that lets them return to working there, or they try to create the clicks and environment elsewhere.
