I think she's just always been a lib. She just seemed further left at the time when she got popular because of how dominant right wing YouTubers were
She had genuinely good anti-capitlasit videos at one point. So it feels weird that it was just a phase for her
I think she's self aware and made the choice of money and self-interest. She knows exactly what the left's points are but she wanted to be mainstream and taken seriously as a figure in media rather than shunned off to the side by establishment media.
The thing is that she cut her teeth creating a left wing audience and everyone fucking hates her for that turn which causes her a lot of emotional distress and affects her motivation to do anything. So she just sorta floats and does nothing now.
Her ex, philosophy tube is meanwhile doing the grift better and has landed some minor Hollywood roles.

From what I read further in the thread is the person who could be 'me too'd' is a different person than Philosophy Tube but 4xhan decided it was the same person while being weird about it.
