I always wondered why porn videos have the standard array of share buttons. Like "Boy this video is great, let me just quick share it to grandma on Facebook."
I swear the devs of the big porn platforms just absolutely did it for the bit
like "every other web2.0 site has share to social, we should do it and ruin some marriages lol"
I once stayed in a frat house over the summer, just for the cheap room. I didn't have to pledge or anything; most of the bros were elsewhere and they just put the empty rooms on craigslist. The worst thing was that I came home one day and they were all in the living room watching hardcore porn. Their dicks weren't out; they were just watching porn together. So if you think that button is a joke or something because sharing porn is just too gross, you're underestimating the number and grossness of gross dudes.
my uncle told me a similar story about watching porn with a roomful of dudes, but that was in the ... 60s maybe? they had a small movie projector and the porn was on actual real film. and it was a smallish room in some flat. everyone was smoking. windows closed.
must've been a lovely experience.
