A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.

There’s a Gemini logo in the bottom corner

Is this AI, and just making shit up? I've zoomed into the picture and I don't see any logo. Where is it?
It's hard to see, but it's in the bottom right corner:
Do you have another image I could compare against? I still don't see the logo there. Theres something that looks vaguely like a top and bottom spike, but they aren't even aligned.
To me, this just looks like photoshop, particularly with the cutoff of the spray cone, the bad lightling, and the lack of AI artifacts.
The most recent models have really cut down on the artifacts, but you can see the text on the body of the snowblower is deeply wonky if you zoom in (even at this resolution).

Given the fact that in the image its smaller, and lacking the left and right arms of the star, I don't think thats a Gemini logo. That said, the leaf blower body doesn't look like jpeg artifacting, so that may be AI. Its also possible it was something like AI infill, or AI characters sloppily layered onto a real image, which would explain the lack of AI artifacts in the background.
jfc the Gemini logo is clearly visible in that higher res version. Also.. look at the label on the leaf blower. That's ai, buddy.
Is the logo (OEONIG, GEONIG?) on the leaf blower not enough to convince you?
Considering how many brands on Amazon have that sort of naming sense, I can believe this leafblower to be one of those products. I have 'Geekhom' mittens.
This is a really weird hill to die on. Did you see the higher resolution image? It's extremely distinct there, it may have taken a moment to federate over since I edited the comment to include it.
