apparently his republican dad saw the circulating photos and asked his son to turn himself in. I doubt it had anything to do with the $100k reward
I like to think if I shot a right wing extremist troll, my dad would help me lay low instead of turning me in. But my dad is an aging hippy, not a maga hat worm brain.

So what? Priests and pastors are different things.
I'm also guessing "pastor" doesn't mean "seminary trained, regular background checks, psychologically evaluated, tested for competence, and examined by others to discern call in a denomination that requires pastors act like mandatory reporters" but instead means "Bubba says the Bible good and hates the right folks."
Yeah this is America, protestants rarely bother with such frivolous "qualifications" here
