Breaking news (if true).

I was looking at a tweet that quoted her, refreshed the page, and saw:

This Post is from an account that no longer exists.

Edit: Looks real.

She'll be back, twitter addicts can't stay off the tweets for long

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 62 points 7 months ago (1 children)

Exactly what I was going to say. She loves the drama and attention too much, she was just mad that people were treating her like the zionist piece of shit that she is.

[–] Biggay@hexbear.net 28 points 7 months ago (5 children)

To be fair shes not a zionist, just a liberal narcissist. All of her politics revolve around her and her own victimizations and prejudices and the ability to exploit that without ever challenging anything fundamental about the world.

[–] Awoo@hexbear.net 47 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (1 children)

The 2 state solution position is just "I am a zionist but also think Palestinians should have a state, I will ignore the fact this is futile and impossible and that it will get Palestinians slowly killed as has been occurring for the last 70 years". She is a zionist.

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 13 points 7 months ago (2 children)

haven't various palestinian organizations said 2-state was acceptable at various times, including hamas?

[–] Barabas@hexbear.net 33 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago) (2 children)

It has become increasingly clear (has been bleedingly obvious since the Oslo accords tbf) that Palestinian sovereignty is something that Israel won’t even entertain, much less a return of all their illegal settlements and 1967 borders. What the two state solution really means, unless we are fundamentally changing Israel, is the same thing as Bantustans or Native American reservations. The only real alternative that doesn’t at least involve ethnic cleansing is a single secular pluralistic state.

China, Cuba and the Soviet Union are also Zionist according to this definition (NK would be the sole non-Zionist AES state unless I’m mistaken), so it is a strange thing to latch on to. I don’t think Contra really cares and two state solution is just the generic answer.

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 19 points 7 months ago (1 children)

yeah 2-state is an easy way for liberals to not have to question their worldview

[–] Tabitha@hexbear.net 11 points 7 months ago

Anarchists and Posadists want a no state solution.

[–] sodium_nitride@hexbear.net 13 points 7 months ago

I would say there is a difference between an official diplomatic policy and the stated viewpoints of a netizen. Netizens have more room to espouse radical policy than governments. It's why DPRK who has the least relations with other countries also tends to espouse more radical views in their international statements.

But yes, countries should at this point start recognising that the 2-state solution is dead. But that would require a broader shift in international political consciousness towards more radical anti-imperialism.

[–] newacctidk@hexbear.net 14 points 7 months ago

It was seen as a compromise by some organizations eventually. Never a good solution or even one that would be lasting. People flocked to Hamas because Hamas continued to fight. When Oslo proved hollow and the two states meant what they had always meant, people saw who was still fighting and sided with them.

I thought her views were in line with AOC and Bernie, i.e. liberal Zionism.

"Israel has a right to exist." = Zionist

[–] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 34 points 7 months ago (1 children)

I suppose, but she has a lot of Zionist friends, and clearly supports their actions and opinions, so she's functionally a zionist, even if she is just doing it to feed her persecution complex.

[–] Biggay@hexbear.net 33 points 7 months ago* (last edited 7 months ago)

Of course, shes a liberal. She supports everything the way it is, but she would never call herself a zionist. She doesnt believe in anything that much, when or if one day the zionist project fails and it truly becomes unpopular to the hegemony of the US ruling class, she will array herself as having been correct the whole time. One day, they will all have been against this. Liberalism can only ever be correct at the right time, never the wrong time, or else it wouldnt be correct. And then she will write a 4 hour long video about how she was right, if the left had just listened, how she was unfairly lambasted for champagne with Hilary, for her twitter takes, for her, its all about her. 4 hours and she wont center the Palestinians.

[–] CthulhusIntern@hexbear.net 11 points 7 months ago

Her only politics are wanting to live comfortably as a rich trans woman. If the GOP immediately dropped the anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and policy, she would have absolutely no problem with them.

[–] imogen_underscore@hexbear.net 7 points 7 months ago

she is zionist

[–] spectre@hexbear.net 38 points 7 months ago (1 children)

For the short time I used Twitter (a matter of a few months), she had an inactive/deleted account the whole time. I felt like I was missing out cause people would kinda talk about her inactive account on there. Obviously she's been active the last few years and I obviously wasn't missing anything.

Anyway yeah account deletion on Twitter is rarely permanent. Probably would be healthier I for her if she did delete it permanently, though. True for everyone, haha

[–] TankieTanuki@hexbear.net 20 points 7 months ago

Oh, so it's not automatically permanent. sicko-wistful

[–] HarryLime@hexbear.net 35 points 7 months ago

She'll go to BlueSky

[–] Chana@hexbear.net 20 points 7 months ago (2 children)

I'm guessing she'd have to start fresh with no subscribers. Would be a bit interesting to compare the accounts that subscribed to new vs old.

[–] Barabas@hexbear.net 19 points 7 months ago

Would probably suit her as the people that would follow her again are going to be the most online and dramatic, distilling down all her online interactions into the most dramatic form possible.

Yeah she really just can't stop posting 😖
