Looks like brown and purple to me.

Edit: TIL. It reminds me of the Moor frog, which turns blue... ish when horny.

Tis a joke about color perception :) to me, in the photo the eye does look like oversaturated blue (maybe due to blown out white around the eye)

Both images are heavily edited. With different filters. Any assumption about their real colors is moot.

OK. I suspected something like this.

Colour perception, different display... who knows. :)
