My favorite version of this song, and the game is awesome too, there is a DLC where you can help workers overthrow the tyrannical management.

Essential hexbear listen, absolute genius album. If you're hesitant the first lines are "I've got a bone to pick with capitalism, and a few to break' and doesn't let off from there. It's a classic for a good reason and even if you don't like hardcore it's still amazing.

I sing em real pretty, I sing em real sad.
All the people in the crowd say ‘he ain’t half bad’.
They call me King Turd up here on Shit Mountain.
If you want it, you can have the crown.

Sturgill features pretty heavily on my playlist. I think he ‘retired’ of sorts. He says he intended to put out five albums, following a sort of path. Ballad of Juanita and Dood was number five. I think he is now putting out record under the name ‘Johnny Blueskies’, if anyone is a Sturgil fan.

I love these guys. They haven't been too active in this project lately but this new album centered around Palestine and the protests for it is infused with an absolute slobbering frothing at the mouth rage about it. The songs are intensely energetic and angry as fuck. Death metal growls and very rapid tempo. I guess this would just be hardcore? I'm not sure, not very familiar with punk subgenres.

Very strong metal influence this time around. Four preview tracks are named "Caltrans is a Criminal Organization," "All Bad Apples," "ID(ga)F," and a cover of "Protest and Survive." Gotta say I love the names. Even if I can't make out what the fuck they're saying

Some guys will start hugely underrated and staggeringly influential rock bands rather than go to therapy.

These guys took part in so much drink and drugs that they would tune their guitars to make it easier to play while drunk and they'd still fuck up.

Finally, Paul was so mad about U2's "I Will Follow" that he wrote two songs in response. This one and "Kids Don't Follow."

The album Sci Fi Crimes by Chevelle hits differently after 15 years.

To avoid blowing up the music comm by posting my other favorites from the album I will instead just recommend listening to it all.
