I stumbled across this today and thought it was worth sharing. I have used every one of these ROMs except /e/ and they are all good projects in their own right.

The newest Wear OS watch from Mobvoi is not a radical hardware change. Where Xiaomi, Oppo, and Google are only just catching the tech in the Pro 5, the Enduro is a move towards slightly better efficiency and fancier build materials. It's still a TicWatch though, and while some of the software situation has improved, we still need to chat about updates...

I wonder if the r9 pro will get the 8g3. Since technically the r9 has a downgraded chip from the R8

So I just bought a OnePlus 12 recently, I was used to controlling volume using the onehand operations goodlock module in my Samsung galaxy S23. I basically never had to press the volume buttons to control the volume unless absolutely necessary.

Possible ways I've thought of (it would be really great if at all possible) -

  1. Using the curved edges in phone screen for volume control.

  2. Using the gestures to control volume when the screen is off.

  3. Setting Diagonal swiping gestures to do different functions, controlling volume in this case.

I find the only app in F-droid very lacking, and the couple I tested from the PlayStore lacked many of the technically available controls you can see on IRDB, Global Cache, JP1, etc.

I am seriously surprised there is no open source Android IR remote app that can truly put everything to shame, given that the info is out there. I may contact a friend of mine for a new Android app...

The X100 Ultra has a camera setup that is different from that of any other X100 smartphone. According to a senior executive, the phone, with its flagship-tier camera technologies, will excel in five key scenes:

  • The micro-gimbal anti-shake telephoto lens will be able to capture fast cars.
  • The macro feature of the telephoto camera has the biggest magnification rate among smartphones – 3.4:1.
  • Dark light telephoto portrait option will provide seamless images with no glare or reflections.
  • Telephoto lens can also capture starlight in the night sky.
  • With the help of Zeiss, the X100 Ultra and the vivo ISP users will be able to capture sunsets, sunrises, and flowing clouds.
