If we are just talking about personal or theoretical goals, then sure. But if we want to subsidize the whole market with taxpayer money, then I have to disagree.

Carrier consolidation continues?

[-] BrikoX@lemmy.zip 7 points 18 hours ago

EVs only minimizes the CO2 consumption, since actual car production (especially batteries) creates stitton of CO2. So while it's better, incentivizing something that still contributes to the problem is not a real solution.

[-] BrikoX@lemmy.zip 12 points 1 day ago

That's not what I'm saying. We are past the point of being able to reverse the harm already done, but we can still limit the future harm. And that is critical. The current world is still livable, alternative is portions of the world becomes unlivable.

And who knows, maybe some future tech will make possible what is impossible today.

Leaving only recently became a viable solution. Before you were under non-compete agreement.

Article titles are not selected by the journalist that writes it, but a separate editor. The article explains it and includes multiple sources. One would expect a loud critic to know the basic concepts of journalism.

According to https://www.theguardian.com/business/article/2024/may/08/astrazeneca-withdraws-covid-19-vaccine-worldwide-citing-surplus-of-newer-vaccines

In a statement, AstraZeneca said the decision was made because there is now a variety of newer vaccines available that have been adapted to target Covid-19 variants. This had led to a decline in demand for the AstraZeneca vaccine, which is no longer being manufactured or supplied.

No, nobody forgotten the mass murder committed by Hamas, but what followed was Israel committing a genocide, so people who care about all human life (and not only Jewish life) are focused on that now.

And the West Bank is not run by Hamas, according to Israel themselves. But Israel continues to steal their land and murder innocent civilians without any consequences.

The title is a bit misleading. It's not about sending Russian assets, but the interest those assets earned while being frozen.

That is one hell of a title.
