I gotta ask, whats the capacity? The box doesn't mention it or is that 750 GB? If so thats not too bad for an additional backup drive.

Yeah, about a decade back. A friend of my roommate was not very bright. She said stuff like "why would anyone do a PhD, didn't we already research all there is?”.

https://github.com/bpatrik/pigallery2 is something I have moved to from Immich, but actually only because Immich didn't let my HDD go to sleep anymore. I do like it though, it is a bit simpler.

Who even would anyone want to talk to him? I mean I remember that awful MTv series about the Osbournes like a decade back and Ozzy was not very coherent then, why would anyone want to have a chat with something that resembles that? He was an influential musician, but that doesn't mean he is a wise person to have a chat with.

Well what about some angry emojis?

I guess it is also cheaper to get artificial flavour instead, bit sad.

Sorry, I find it hard to believe that these bananas are not instead sold slightly cheaper for uses where the looks don't matter. E.g. for processing into foods where they essentially just get mashed, like yogurts with banana taste or whatever there is. Also selling them to Zoos as I am sure animals don't care either. Is that really not financially viable?

Both Germanys is such a hilarious thing to say.

I think this is unnecessarily inflammatory focusing on the Steamdeck. Did Valve increase price out of nowhere? I am guessing not. Did they on purpose delay their Steam machine launch date? Again, I guess not.

We all know the elephant in the room for this, which will also cause pretty much all PC hardware prices to go up. By the time that happens the Steam deck will probably be again a good deal, since just everything goes up in price right now.

Edit: since the article compares this to current price of the Asus ROG Ally, mark my words, in the next 6 months they will also have to increase their price.

Edit2 later: everyone has seen the news that the Steamdeck sold out again even for that price? If it weren't a useful device for that price, it wouldn't sell that well.

We know. No one has.

Daaaaaamn. If I didn't have one already, I would not consider buying it at that price anymore. And I got the cheaper 512 gb model.

Will be travelling to Japan later this year and found out about these workshops in Tokyo where you get make "your own" modded Gameboy. Guessing modded refers to being able to choose custom shells and buttons, not so much to anything else there might be (I am not very knowledgeable about Gameboy mod scene).

Looks super cool, but is very pricey. Around 55.000 Yen for different courses, so I am a bit on the fence for booking it or not.

Anybody here have any experience with these? Would those be "normal" Gameboys you need cartridges for?

Edit: found a video of one, just in case someone is interested seeing how it goes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjHSz8goaZ8

I have been using the app filters option to remove some posts I don't care about that are recurring, which is a nice feature.

There are however two problems with it that are sort of related, I don't seem to get it to work filtering combinations of words? E.g. I can filter for "hello" and "world" but when I make a filter for "hello world" it doesn't block anything. Is there a certain way you need to define those or does it just not work?

And since I can only do single word filters I have now the issue that I filter posts I do not mind actually. E.g. by trying to filter "hello world" with just "hello" I am also filtering "hello you". But whenever a post got filtered it does not tell you which filter was applied, it just says "this post is filtered because of a custom filter", or something like that.

Could that message maybe write out the word it filtered so one can see which filter got applied? Since I had wrong posts filtered I am now often checking, which post is behind the filter, but thats kind of removing the purpose of the filter.

From the Emudeck discord:

@everyone Hey everyone, apologies for the ping but since this is deemed as critical to the security of people's devices here, I will have to. Cemu (The Wii U emulator) was recently compromised by a malicious attacker using a known developers account, this compromise took place from May 6th to May 12th, and introduces malware that is known to steal passwords, SSH keys, GitHub tokens, and likely more they are not fully aware of at this moment. We recommend anybody who is on Linux or SteamOS to go into the EmuDeck app, Manage Emulators tab, Cemu, and click Reinstall/Update, and make sure the hash of the AppImage (Located in Home/Applications, right click Cemu AppImage, go into Properties, Checksums, and Calculate the SHA256 hash) matches the non-compromised version provided by the Cemu developers, if you have used Cemu from the dates I have mentioned, and the SHA256 hash does not match what is listed, assume your system may be compromised if it was ran. If you are on Windows, MacOS, or used the Flatpak version, you are not affected by this malware. More information regarding this attack can be found here. https://rentry.org/cemu-security-psa

The specifically affected packages were:

Cemu-2.6-x86_64.AppImage

cemu-2.6-ubuntu-22.04-x64.zip
