She's just foreshadowing her pick for Secretary of Defence.

Article 150 covers bringing the party into disrepute by living too egregious of a conspicuous consumption hypebeast lifestyle. So it's actually the "party members shouldn't bring the party into disrepute by buying so many gold-plated Bugatti Veyrons that normal people are beginning to notice/complain" clause.

Technically the "don't get caught at strip clubs" clause is Article 151. Actually, to be serious, it's not even that as Article 151 is not really a generalised "party members can't have extramarital sex ever" rule, but just a "don't abuse your power to be a sex pest" clause. The real "don't get caught in a strip club" provision is Article 153 (i.e. don't "violate social public order and good morals") and since the sex industry is, as far as I'm aware, still very illegal in China, a party member being caught in one is basically also a criminal matter as well as a party discipline matter.

Careful, Joanne might decide to say that actually golem legends are lies made up by rabbis to steal real wizard valour.

The Sun-Cross series is the one where a wizard has to escape the Nazis who reverse-isekaied him into our world, right? Was there jewish mysticism in the book? Haven't read it myself but I literally just read a critic describing it as an interesting experiment with/subversion of the portal-quest fantasy subgenre (instead of being directly told about the true nature of the world by reliable wise sage figures (eg. Gandalf, Aslan), the protagonist has to actively question and interpret the world around him to find out the truth (ie. the holocaust)).

smuglord : Stupid commies, don't you realise that violence never achieves anything? Miss me with all that talk of revolutionary collective action; real progressivism is when you vote for nice, intelligent Democrat politicians so that they can bestow upon the American people positive socioeconomic policy changes like NAFTA and the Affordable Care Act.

Nice to see Anwar finally taking a principled anti-imperialist stand against his paymasters at the NED. /s

Seriously though, from a local perspective, I'm a bit ambivalent on all this vocal official government solidarity with Palestine. I mean, it's great that solidarity with Palestine is so ubiquitous in mainstream Malaysian society that even the neoliberals and conservatives support it, but I can't help suspecting that Anwar and PH/BN is cynically playing up this present dispute with amerikkka on the Palestine issue in order to distract from systemic failures on the domestic front. Apart from cost-of-living inflation caused by the ringgit weakening to record levels, just last week Parti Sosialis Malaysia activists protesting against an extremely shady eviction of tenant farmers in Anwar's home constituency were physically brutalised and arrested.

Errr, I think he's trying to do satirical verse (ala Swift's A Modest Proposal) to say that leftists are actually the Real Racists^TM^ (apparently Woke Progressives insist on everything existing on spectrums with absurdly marginal and meaningless differentiations (like how sexuality/gender are on a spectrum?), and also hypocrites who don't really believe in the validity of the racist race spectrums that they impose on people like him (apparently Woke Progressives are ok with black people "identifying" as white people?)...? Also apparently race just means different shades of skin colours?

Or is he just unironically doing Advanced Race Theory, Measurehead-style?

Or both?

If the Democrats are so centre-left why hasn't Pelosi gone on The Adam Friedland Show, huh? Ever thought about that?

yeonmi-park "In North Korea, young schoolchildren are taught ridiculous fairy tales that uncritically glorify their authoritarian leadership class, so as to propagandise them into becoming blind supporters of the oppressive regime when they grow up."

Yet she never, once, showed hatred towards trans people, she never wished the death of any trans person.

Good to know that never having wished death on any individual member of a oppressed group is basically equivalent to not showing hatred towards said oppressed group. I'm sure that if a 18th century slaveowner didn't say out loud to another person that he wished that all his plantation slaves would spontaneously drop dead, that must then mean that he is not a hateful racist.

Bigotry for these people can only mean being an out-and-out Nazi, making public speeches about how all the untermensch must be crushed underfoot and herded into gas chambers en masse. Because that really shows how good and virtuous of a human being you are - not being a literal Nazi.

The richest man on earth is a 50-something racist chuunibyou. Capitalism truly is a perfect and rational system of meritocracy.
