The proletariat cannot trust the petite bourgeoise and vice versa. As a class they can only aspire to enter the ranks of the haute bourgeoisie and in the meantime typically try to imitate their exploitative culture, lifestyle and morality in order to do so. Otherwise they fail and sink back to the ranks of the proletariat. Only the laboring proletarian classes possesses the revolutionary potential to seize the world and its capital to work for themselves and all of humanity.

In times of great crisis and extreme exploitation, the petite bourgeoise will occasionally be pressed economically so hard by the monopolistic haute bourgeoisie that they will end up siding with a proletarian revolution for their own survival; but in such a case the victorious proles, as the leading class now, must end the petite bourgeoise' exploitative practices, dispossess them of their petty capital, and dissolve their class into proletarians themselves. This fundamental contradiction in their class interests is insurmountable and generates conflict.

At the time Israel was controlled by the Mapai party (socialist/"labor Zionist") with Mapam party in second (Marxist Leninist). At the time it appeared Zionism would be a socialist force to break open the Franco-British imperial project middle east. In retrospect it was a foolish bet that came at the expense of Palestinians, but at the time the Arab world was largely still under colonial rule.

Swiss guard better buy themselves some MANPADs

no, they're armed and therefore completely legitimate targets, they aren't ambulances. Though the Epstein coalition targets ambulances too so Iran wouldn't need to respect that either and could justifiably carry out reprisal attacks under current international law.

As far as I understand a CSAR operation needs to be heavily defended during its course. I assume there was lots of SEAD/DEAD happening in the area to protect the big planes.

Caesar Chavez is not was was never "our guy". Union leaders don't automatically deserve leftist loyalty and in fact leftists should be especially critical of these "leaders" and what they do with their influence over the proletariat. Chavez wasn't even close to leftism and Communists should feel zero loyalty to this pos

I 100% believe them. Chavez was always a conservative unionist, he lacked intersectionality and solidarity with other workers and now it is more clear than ever that his union work was for is own self interest. He was happy to throw immigrant workers other the bus for "undermining" his union, and now it seems he also didn't give a shit about women and girls either. He is not and was never a leftist, he was a yellow unionist who wanted to get paid more and that was about the extent of his participation with class struggle. Why do you think the amerikkkian empire threw up so many statues of him? he was the perfect "acceptable" worker leader for liberals to diffuse communist tendencies and I'm not surprised he was also aremoved.

unlimited oil price shocks on the western world, you will live in a 15 minute walkable city, you will eat the local produce, you will cease single use plastics

the DSA was hosting it and the turnout was MASSIVE. Hundreds of people from all around the city. they filled up a large union hall and had people against the walls and spilling into hallways. The people are scared and pissed. democratic party didn't even come up in discussion and got booed hard in a speech. People weren't overly ambitious about the general strike, I don't think anyone thought it would end things overnight, but people want to step up to defend their communities themselves however they can, I will dare to say that it all felt very conscious.

DSA had maps of the city set up and shit, marking our positions, and people were forming neighborhood squads and signal chats for anti-ICE patrols and logistics. There were so many volunteers we had to sub-divide the neighborhoods so the teams didn't get too big. ICE hasn't even officially shown up in our city yet but people want to throw hands lol. teachers and unionists were schooling everyone on light theory, keeping order even with huge numbers. Veteran agitators from Minneapolis were sharing their lessons. This shit is happening right now comrades, and if it's happening everywhere else in this country than the regime really stirred up the hornets' nest this time.

If you're a communist it's your duty to be among the people and leading them in this. Many aren't confident, and are looking for guidance on what to do. This feels like a revolutionary moment, not THE revolutionary moment, but one that can build a greater nucleus for the next stage in the class war. Get on the grind and make your neighborhood look like based-department if ICE rolls through anytime soon.

This is my favorite part:

On Sept. 11, a customs and border protection supervisor working with the FBI Milwaukee identified himself as Joe and said he wanted to speak to Stanton about the posts he had been making, the complaint states.

Stanton responded, "Go (expletive) yourself," the complaint states.

Later, federal prosecutors said he texted the agent several times with comments such as:

(TW: suicide)

"Please die. It will help future generations"

"Kill yourself fed"

and "Hang yourself..."

Stanton also posted what appear to be screenshots of the text thread between him and the federal agent in other TikTok videos 12 News Investigates has seen online.

Stanton also sent a meme comprised of an animated representation of Charlie Kirk with a bleeding neck wound. A caption accompanied the image which stated, "This should be a lesson on how To [sic] deal with fascists. You don’t Debate [sic] them, you delete them."

China has demolished 300 dams and shut down most of the small hydropower stations on a major tributary of the upper Yangtze River to safeguard fish populations as part of an effort to restore the ecology of Asia’s longest waterway.

According to a report by the state news agency Xinhua on Monday, 300 of the 357 dams on Chishui He – also known as the Red River – had been dismantled by the end of December 2024. In addition, 342 out of 373 small hydropower stations have been decommissioned, enabling many rare fish species to resume their natural reproductive cycles, the Xinhua report said.

The Red River flows for more than 400km (249 miles) through the southwestern provinces of Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan. It is regarded by ecologists as the last refuge for rare and endemic fish species in the Yangtze’s upper reaches.

Over the decades, water flows have been increasingly blocked by the dense network of hydropower stations and dams, restricting water volumes downstream and occasionally even causing some sections to dry up entirely.

This has drastically reduced the amount of suitable habitat and spawning grounds. The stations also blocked the routes of migratory fish species between breeding grounds and non-breeding areas.

WASHINGTON—Promising a glorious future marked by limitless prosperity for the East Asian nation, President Donald Trump outlined a bold vision Tuesday night for a golden age of China. “Under my leadership, a prosperous new era of Chinese dominance will begin, the likes of which have never been seen before,” Trump said in an address to a joint session of Congress, insisting that China, finally unbridled from the foreign policy of former President Joe Biden, would reach its full potential and claim its rightful place as an unmatched global powerhouse. “Mark my words, the People’s Republic will be the envy of the world. That I can assure you. As long as I’m in charge, nothing will stand in China’s way. My newly implemented tariffs will spur China to be more self-sufficient, stable, and affluent going forward. Believe me when I say we’re going to make China a lot of money.” Trump went on to state that people he had talked to were already calling it the second Ming dynasty.
